A. Landini

Angelo Lou Landini

Angelo Lou Landini was born in Florence, Italy where he found his passion for visual arts while as a child he would watch his father create beautiful stained glass windows for the local churches & businesses.  He soon began creating his own works of art & it was clear he demonstrated immense talent in his early teenage years.  His parents decided to send him to the Academia D’Arte Firenze, Art School in Florence, where he earned his Masters in Visual Arts & Ancient Painting Techniques, it was during these years that he developed a profound interest in the Renaissance period.  The city of Florence is renowned as the birthplace of the Renaissance, in particular of Renaissance paintings and this is portrayed in both of Landini’s series of portraits; ‘The Renaissance Woman’ and ‘The Golden Series.’  The realism of his paintings is a result of his fascination with natural curves & beauty.  He captures the elaborate costuming & adornments that are representative of the era and he transfers these visions to canvas creating the masterpieces we all enjoy today.  Angelo continues to reside in his hometown of Florence with his wife and children.
