Antione Duval

Antione Duval is a Neoclassical artist. He drew his inspiration from Jacques-Louis David, Jean Augusta Dominique Ingres, Antoine-Jean Gros and many other historical Neoclassical artists. Duval hopes to follow in the footsteps of the artist’s he reveres most, by painting the same subject they all became world renowned for.

These artist’s made their names in the art world during the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. Their names have become synonymous in the Napoleonic art world, having been commissioned by Napoleon and the French government to paint the iconic general.

Duval studied at the famed Haute eco Le des arts Rhin, located in Strasbourg, Alsace. The university has a program dedicated to Neoclassical realism art, making Duval’s decision to attend the historical university, an easy one.
